1. Download the first scanner driver click here.
2. Do the same as above printer driver installation steps, ie extracting the files you've downloaded and then go into the extracted directory.
3. Run the install.sh file also and then select Run in Terminal.
4. Next you live just follow the installation instructions.
5. To start scanning, press the keyboard combination alt + F2 and enter scangearmp command as shown below:
